HELPING VERMONT BUSINESSES THRIVE

Regional Development Corporations (RDCs)

The RDCs are the local contact for businesses and entrepreneurs seeking assistance. RDCs provide services directly to or connect businesses to services available through their networks and partnerships with local, State, and Federal programs and resources.

Support from an RDC might look like helping you find commercial space, discussing how to fund the next part of your business’s growth, explaining grant programs, recommending a local lawyer or CPA, succession planning, registering a new business, and learning about the business community of your region.

What do the RDCs do?

The 12 Vermont Regional Development Corporations (RDCs) are the State's primary partners in implementing economic development in the regions.

Each RDC works to deliver:

  • Technical assistance to develop and strengthen businesses

  • Lead workforce development initiatives

  • Support employment

This website and the work of the RDCs is made possible in part by a grant from the State of Vermont through the Agency of Commerce and Community Development Department of Economic Development.
