THE PROGRAM

Our History

When COVID-19 hit, businesses and organizations scrambled to adapt to a new virtual and contactless world. In response to the changing economy, the Regional Development Corporations of Vermont (RDCs) worked quickly to launch the ReVTA program: designed to deliver critically important technical assistance to hundreds of businesses and organizations to adapt business practices, retrofit space and access new technologies.

RDCs leveraged over $2.1 million in Covid relief federal funding to connect local businesses and non-profits with technical assistance providers.

The results have been overwhelmingly positive, and the network of businesses and vendors will create lasting economic opportunities as our economy recovers from COVID-19.

We’ve worked with over 800 Vermont businesses.

The past programs connected over 800 businesses to an RDC Navigator, who then connected business owners to resources and supported projects with over 300 Vermont-based service providers.  In the program’s second round, 10 organizations worked together to help businesses and communities.

This third round of the program brings together your amazing feedback and the following changes:

  • Our State funding is more flexible! So no COVID-19 restrictions

  • We can now accept businesses and vendors who were established after COVID-19

  • Sole proprietors are now included in eligible businesses and as vendors

  • The priority of the program is to reach Women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Mature Vermonters, Young Vermonters, people with disabilities, Veterans, Justice-Involved Individuals, New Americans, and people in rural places

  • Outreach partners are here to support business owners through the program and bring awareness to supportive resources for priority groups outside of this program.
